***I am a shining star….***
Finley - We are so pleased with how quickly you have settled into Pebbles and how well you follow the
grown-ups instructions and the settings routines.
Maisie - We missed you so much whilst you were in Australia and love how well you have settled right back in,
like you have never been away!
Casper - It's taken a while, which made it even more special when you joined in with our P.E session.
We are so proud of you!!
Dear parents,
As our photos show we have started to think about and enjoy a little warmer weather!! The children and teachers created a beautiful display which represents the wonderful nature we have around us. Different media were used and then the children added their own little bugs to the tulips. We made dens when it was horrible outdoors but as soon as that sun came out we were out in the garden.
Our very tiny friends (the caterpillar) arrived on Monday and they were still rather tiny on Friday so we are hoping they will eat lots over the weekend and be bigger. We will use the caterpillar to teach the children life cycles, symmetry and measuring time as well as observing and enjoying the world around us.
We have lovely long list of nature related activities to enjoy over the next few weeks, which will start with making caterpillars and bugs out of air-drying clay; reading the hungry caterpillar; creating a chart to record how long our caterpillars are at the different stages of their lives; painting butterflies with symmetrical wings and learing a new caterpillar/butterfly song.
Have a lovely weekend,
The Pebbles team.
