Dear Parents,
So I think in spite of the weather this week we continued with our plan to think about holidays and the seaside. The children made some lovely seaside collages on Monday and then we used this theme to create our Father's Day cards. We hope the dad's liked them. However, we did also make snow so some of the cold weather could have been our fault!!
The children have had two outdoor P.E. sessions this week and a Forest School session where they made faces out of clay and stuck them to a tree truck; as well as our sponsored walk on Wednesday. During which we were very lucky that the weather held out and there were only a few spots of rain. Thank you so much to all the parents that attended to show your support, it was very much appreciated. As were the refreshments provided by the committee (thanks to Jema in particular for setting everything up outside her house). Having the parents with us and enjoying refreshments together made it a really special event.
Next week, we will be encouraging summer to actually arrive!! We will be creating a beach outside, eating lollipops and learning 'Oh I do like to be beside the seaside'.
We hope all our special dads enjoy Fathers Day,
The Pebbles team.
