***I am a shining star….***

Brody - You are such a helpful boy, always tidying-up even other children's mess, what woudl we do without you?

Reggie - You were brilliant at being lots of different dinosaurs and making different sounds for each one!

Logan - It was so lovely to see you following the teacher's instructions amazingly in P.E.

Oscar - Your speech is coming on brilliantly, you eat nicely on Friday and you have become such a helpful, kind boy!

Dear parents,

The bug fest has begun.  The children made such cute little bugs out of clay, pipe-cleaners and tiny googly eyes!! We love how fasinated the children are by bugs and creepy crawlies.  They have observed that we have two large caterpillars and two small ones, this alongside the observation that we initially had 5 and now we only have 4 would teach them something about survive of the fittest if we had the heart to tell them why this is so....

We have been so active this week when indoors the children played collectively to build an amazing den; P.E. was very exciting this week; with a massive ostacle course, which really helped the children to follow instructions.  As it was rainy Friday we had the mats and tunnels out and then the afternoon P.E. was parachute games led by Ruby, another activity during which the children had to listen carefully and follow Ruby's instructions and challenges - they loved it!

Next week, we will be thinking about the life cycle of a frog; making our own frog spawn for our mallable experience.
