*STARS OF THE WEEK*

***I am so good at tidying up….***

Daisy - You are one of our newest Pebbles and we love how good you are at tidying-up.  As soon as you hear a grown-up say it is tidy-up time, you are on it!

Benjamin - You are brilliant at tidying-up, finding things that other children miss and encouraging others to tidying-up too, thank you so much

Bodhi - We love how good you are at tidying-up for one so young, you put some of the older children to shame.  You happily wonder around looking for what needs putting away and doing it without any nagging!

Dear parents,

We have been thinking about Easter this week.  We have made our Easter cards; looked at the baby animals that we might see at this time of year and the younger children have been making the animal noises to match farm animals.

Reverend Claire came in on Tuesday and we learnt about Maundy Thursday when Jesus washed the disciplines feet.  The children had their feet painted and created footprint on a long piece of paper before a friend washed their feet clean for them.  We loved how willing some of the children were to wash their friend's feet!

As the photos show we have spent lots of time out in the garden, which is almost dry.  As well as our usual P.E session on the freshly cut school field, followed by lots of time on the climbing equipment and in the afternoon there was dancing so the Friday children should sleep very well tonight, with all that physical activity.

Next week we will continue to focus on Easter with on more session with Reverend Claire.  We will be making two Easter related items to bring home and continuing with our baby animal theme.  During the Easter holiday, if your child is one of our older ones, see if they can tell you some of the following names: a baby sheep, cow, pig, duck, dog, cat, chicken and maybe a rabbit.
