***I am amazing at listening to grown-ups….***

Avani and Arayah - We were so impressed by how well you listen to the grown-ups on your fiest day at Pebbles, helping to tidy-up and following all of our routines.

Zach C - You are definitely one of the children that looks after our precision things, always tidying-up as and picking up things you haven't left on the floor.  Thank you so much!

Dear parents,

Well what I week we have had weather wise! Some of our time has been spent keeping busy and active indoors whilst the rain poured and the wind howled outside.  Lots of craft activities are working towards a lovely Spring/Summer display board.  All of the chil+dren have made a bumble bee and tulip so far and more flowers and insects will be created next week.

We have managed to get outside quite a bit, with the children all togged up in suits, coats and wellies.  We love the way the children create their own role play in the garden and how a vacum cleaner hose (that would usually be thrown away) becomes a fire officer's hose and a rescue mission insues to save the occupates of the Wendy house. 

We also love following the children's lead when we go on walks.  Kit wanted to do races so we did that in the lovely green field we have been allowed access to, as well as climbing respectfully on the big horse chestnut tree and finding a sunny spot to sit in for a quick relax before going on a hunt for cats and horses.  Unfortunately, we only found one cat on that occasion but it was lovely to see that the children have learnt to crouch down and let the cat come to them.   

Next week we will continue with our display board and start to learn about life cycles/animals and children changing from young to old.
